[MAGAZINE] MBLAQ article in Teenage Magazine, Singapore.

This year is looking to be a big one for MBLAQ-whose name stands for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality. Just two years after their first single album, their first full-length studio album BLAQ Style has been released fresh in January this year. Five months down an they are slated to perform in Singapore, alongside other K-pop heavyweights like T-ARA and T-Max.

Stage Fiends in the Making
Discovered, created and managed by Korean superstar Rain’s music label - J.Tune  Entertainment, MBLAQ first debuted on the Korean stage in Rain’s ‘Legend of Rainism’ concert. Needless to say, the band met with much priase and welcome for their heart-pumping music and sleek moves.
Don’t be fooled by the many fast-tempo singles MBLAQ released since their debut. If their latest single ‘Cry’ is anything to go by, the five-member boy band are good balladeers as they are stage sirens.
Not about to be overshadowed by the fact that they are musical proteges, these boys are quite the natural-born actors and variety stars too. They’ve quite a cameo appearance in Fugitive, a 2010 drama series starring Rain; while rapper of the group Chun Dung, has also been a permanent member of variety series, Imagination Arcade.

Moving Forward
Besides comquering Korean charts, MBLAQ is looking forward to bank on the popularity of K-pop music regionally, beginning its move into the Japanese market. If anything, news of MBLAQ’s recent chart-topping performance for their debut album on Gmusic, Taiwan’s top music chart, shows that these guys are in it to win and their fans are there every step of the way!
