[INTERVIEW] MBLAQ's interview in HOT CHILI PAPER (Shooting Sketch)

The image colour is black.
In accordance with that name, wearing stage clothes based on back, applying thick eye make-up, while giving off a manly charm, is MBLAQ, climbing the stairs of a top idol.
So far, Hot Chili’s editorial department has already photographed them with such an image several times, but since a special feature to remember their Japanese debut is being put together, this time we challenged fixing the colour theme on the opposite, white, to appear in the photoshoot. We also really held back on the make-up, while shirts of clean white, and pale hued clothes were worn without hesitation. With simple styling, the actual “undecorated” personalities and appeal should stand out even more.
Late in the evening, at approximately the time promised, the members appeared. We immediately started from the solo photo shoots. Mir, who because of lower back pain had stopped activities for awhile, appeared to be having fun during the photoshoot he’d been away from awhile. From the moment he arrived at the studio, he was smiling from beginning to end. Although he was a bit shy in front of the camera, he decided on poses in succession. At the same time as the photoshoot, they also did their interviews decisively! They didn’t get tired of the interview. As promised, because they didn’t speak on trivial issues or give false impressions from behind their tea. With their unadorned words, they sometimes made us laugh, and sometimes they were really direct, the tempo of answering question after question was skillful.
When the members gather, they display even more fascinating conversation. Even though they are close friends, they aren’t monsters who always crowd together. Their profound appeal, exists in areas like that to. During everyone’s last shoot, using ‘water’ with a deep connection to MBLAQ, we got each of them a bit wet.
When water was sprayed on their hair and faces, some members raised their voices saying ‘Gyah!’ and ran away, (although they get that wet in a MV), but with leader Seungho’s crane-like shout of ‘Please soak me more’, the loud atmosphere of the place was friendly. Seungho was surprised and happy that others at the same time, got more wet as well like him, and everyone showed smiles on their faces, it was the best photo shoot.
It was really late at night when everything finished. After bowing their heads and saying ‘Thank you for your work!’, they faced going to the lesson room. After this they have intensive dance training. Monsters to be feared. I wonder when they can actually sleep.
